“Art
is a revelation of the Spirit. Painting enables me to commune with, to see, to
understand, and to share a part of my world. It is to me what prayer is to the
contemplative.
Its
creative power shows forth God’s Love.”
~ Betty J. Fazio

Betty
Jean Fazio is a
resident of Springfield, Massachusetts. A primarily self-taught Painter, she
maintains a sense of freedom in the expression of he art; this may account for
the variety of style and subject matter that makes her work difficult to
characterize.
Her paintings have been said to reveal a great depth of feeling and understanding and to possess mystical, dream-like qualities.
The
following pages reveal some of her artistic journey from 1968 through the
present. The public has never viewed many of these paintings.
